Alloy Steel AISI 4130 Bar is low-alloy steel with Chromium (0.8-1.1%) and Molybdenum (0.15-0.25%) additions to improve strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. It further contains Carbon (0.28-0.33%), Manganese (0.40-0.60%), Silicon (0.15-0.35%), Sulfur (≤0.040%), and Phosphorus (≤0.035%). AISI 4130 has Tensile Strength: 560-1080 MPa, Yield Strength: 460-880 MPa, Elongation: 21-28%, and Hardness: 149-217 HB. It offers good weldability, good machinability, and high fatigue strength, thus suitable for aerospace, automotive, and structural use.Â
