Alloy Steel F22 Flanges are low-alloy steel containing 1-2% chromium, 0.9-1.2% molybdenum, and 0.05-0.15% carbon. The tensile strength is around 620-850 MPa, and the hardness is up to 190-220 HB. The yield strength is about 415 MPa, thus offering resistance against wear, corrosion, and high temperatures. It has toughness and weldability properties that make it ideal for harsh conditions in the oil and gas, power plant, and chemical industries.
